An Introduction to Student Services

Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Nǐn hǎo, Ciao, Guten Tag, An nyeong haseyo, Asalaam alaikum, Namaste, Selam

Moving to a new country and speaking a different language can often make us feel “like a fish out of water”. At student services we are here to support and help students with any questions they my have about living and studying in a new city and country. At each English Path school, we have a dedicated student services officer on hand to give you advice and point you in the right direction. No problem is too small.

At student services we can help you with:

Health

Accommodation

Life in London and UK

Travel

Well-being

Transport

Personal problems

Student Services can be found on the 3rd floor at London Ealing and on the 5th floor of our Canary Wharf schools.

At English Path, Paul is the Student Services Officer at our London Ealing school. He is responsible for helping students and answering any questions or problems they may have during their studies.

He has worked in international education since 2006 and it is a journey that has taken him to Thailand and Spain and back to London. Paul enjoys learning about different cultures and traveling and speaks English and a bit of Spanish.

Kathleen is the Student Services Officer at London Canary Wharf school. Kathleen has previously worked as Senior Membership Services Officer at the prestigious Hong Kong Jockey Club. She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Korean. She loves learning foreign languages to expand her understanding of the world around us. She is committed to welcoming students and helping students to achieve a better study experience.

There is so much to see and do in London and “when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford". London is a big, bustling city with a variety of cultural and interesting places to visit. Seeing everything during your stay at EP can be challenging that’s why Student Services organise an eventful and exciting Social Programme, which aims to give you a sample of what London has to offer. The activities are often focused on British and international culture reflecting the diversity of London. Pub nights, a Thames’s river cruise, international food night and trips to places like Kew Gardens are all led by our staff who are experienced Londoners.

We hope you enjoy your stay in London and we look forward to helping you along your journey with English Path!
