The General German programme at EP Berlin is designed to help you develop your German language and communication skills, giving you the confidence and ability to function in everyday situations. You will practise your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a communicative approach with the help of our experienced and qualified teachers. You will have multiple opportunities to learn and practise your German language skills in a variety of 'real-life' situations around campus and through our social programme. You will also be able to improve your pronunciation and develop your grammar and vocabulary range.
At EP Berlin, we offer six levels of General German Courses, ranging from beginner to advanced. Our Beginner level class is great for new students with some reading and writing skills. If you are just starting out your German language journey, you can boost your learning with additional one-on-one classes. For those with strong communication skills, we have an Advanced General German class. If you want to learn faster, you should consider our 'Semi-intensive' or ‘Premium 30’ course. This option is perfect if you want to prepare for an exam as well. If you prefer a more relaxed pace and want extra time to explore the city while you study, we recommend our 'Classic' or 'Semi-intensive' courses.

Our General German One-to-One course is designed to help you improve your German language skills through private lessons with our experienced and qualified teacher. You will learn how to use German in everyday situations confidently during your classes. Through our communicative approach, you will also build your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Our General German One-to-One course gives you an opportunity to learn German at your own pace and on your own time to achieve your specific goals. We begin by finding out your language learning goals before creating a customised, One-to-One course that caters to your specific needs, whether you want to enhance your reading, writing, listening, or speaking abilities. Moreover, we also give you an option to schedule your lessons with our qualified and dedicated English teachers at your convenience.
Teaching methodology
In our General German One-to-One course, we use a communicative approach, building confidence while giving plenty of opportunities to use the new language skills you acquire. You will receive homework to do before your next session and lessons will be tailored to your needs and learning preferences.
