Evita Moulara

Director of Studies

Evita started teaching English in 2014, and at the time, she did not know that education would become her passion; but, after an MA in English Language and Teaching and a CELTA, she realised that helping others achieve their language-learning dreams is what truly drives her. Since 2014, she has had the opportunity to teach EFL students in public and private schools, summer programmes, and universities across the UK and Europe. These experiences have allowed her to meet people and have shaped her understanding of what ideal education is. Now, her goal is to create a space where teachers and learners thrive and feel supported, motivated, and relaxed.

In addition to teaching, she has an academic background, holding a PhD from the University of Birmingham, where she also taught Applied Linguistics to undergraduate students. Her PhD research has strengthened her ability to improve educational standards and refine EFL teachers' teaching practices using research-driven insights. Evita is particularly drawn to technology-enhanced language learning and teaching, as well as how students’ individual differences shape their L2 learning.

When she is not at EP Birmingham, Evita loves to travel, take photos, listen to music, and enjoy good food.
