After a short career in the City of London Insurance market, Julia chose to follow her passion for learning languages and meeting people from around the world by becoming an English as a Foreign Language teacher. She has a Cambridge CELTA and DELTA and a Master's in International Development. She has lived and worked as an EFL teacher in Japan, Senegal and France. She worked for British Council for 20 years where she held roles from Teacher to Academic Manager to Head of Teaching Centre Operations, France. Julia is responsible for the Paris Centre, both for operations and academic matters. She firmly believes in the importance of providing the best possible learning environment to support students on their path to successful language acquisition.
