Ruth Hamilton is the IELTS Programme Leader of English Path Online.  She has been working in EFL for over 30 years, as a teacher and Cambridge CELTA & DELTA tutor and assessor.  She has held managerial positions as DOS, Head of Teacher Training, and Chair of a University PD Committee, and has many years’ experience as an IELTS teacher and examiner.  She has a BA in Modern Languages and an MA in TEFL, as well as the DELTA. She has travelled extensively and worked in 11 different countries, travel and learning languages being two of her passions. She currently lives in Brazil, spending her free time exploring this vast country and studying Portuguese.
