My name is Sara and I'm the Accommodation Officer for Birmingham. My first job with international students was at Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro Residence, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal during the time when I was doing my bachelor’s degree. The experience of interacting with students from different countries was amazing for me and gave me confidence to move and live in another country. Moving to England impacted my life to do this job as I could be in the same shoes as our students, coming to a new country and learning a new language. During my time here in England I had the opportunity to work different jobs that made me live in many different houses, with very different people. That gave me a spectrum of the role that I'm doing now. Finding comfortable places for our students to have an amazing experience in a new country, learning a new language.
