Mental health and wellbeing policy

If you are a student, potential student, or staff member supporting students, English Path's mental health and wellbeing policy is designed to help you. The policy is created to promote positive mental health and wellbeing by providing you with information, advice, and support. It also describes the available support options and encourages you to come forward and share if you are experiencing any mental health issues.

Mental health and wellbeing policy highlights guidelines for the responsibilities of all English Path students and staff. By adopting this policy, English Path aims to provide regular support for any of our students or staff members who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

Anti-harassment and anti-bullying

As a student or staff member at English Path, it's important that you feel safe and respected while studying or working with us. That's why we have an anti-harassment and anti-bullying policy in place. This makes sure that any incident of harassment or bullying will be handled appropriately, fairly, and on time. The policy applies to everyone at English Path, regardless of their role or employment status.

We want you to feel confident and supported, so please don't hesitate to report any instances of harassment or bullying. We take these matters seriously and will do everything possible to ensure your safety and wellbeing.

Health and safety policy

At English Path, we take your safety and wellbeing very seriously. We understand that you need a safe and healthy environment to be able to focus on your studies and work without any worries. To that end, we provide all the necessary resources for the maintenance of high safety standards. We also provide training for you and our staff members on the legal responsibilities and how to together, we all can maintain a safe working and learning environment. Our aim is to prevent accidents or work-related illnesses and maintain safe and healthy conditions for everyone associated with our organisation.

We understand that accidents can happen despite our best efforts. That is why we have established safety protocols and procedures to ensure that we can respond quickly and effectively to any incident. We want you to be assured that you are in good hands and that we are doing everything possible to keep you safe.

Equality and diversity

At English Path we are committed to creating a culture that is free from discrimination. Our goal is to support and promote equality and diversity in all aspects of our work, and to establish an environment based on the dignity, courtesy, and respect that benefits you as a member of our community. We strive to make sure that all our staff have equal access to facilities, personal and career development opportunities and employment. We are also dedicated to creating a supportive and excellent teaching and learning environment for you as a student.

Our commitment to fairness and equality extends to eliminating discrimination and advancing equality based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief (including lack of belief), sex, and sexual orientation so that you can feel valued and appreciated regardless of your background or identity.

Anti-slavery and human trafficking

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. At English Path, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery. It can come in various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking. All these have one thing in common: one person taking away the freedom of another person to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

We are committed to conducting our business with integrity and in an ethical manner, and we take proactive measures to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

Safeguarding policy

At English Path, we are dedicated to promoting your welfare. We expect our staff, suppliers, and volunteers to share this commitment. We encourage you to let us know   if you have any concerns about your safety or the wellbeing of others. Our aim is to protect and promote your welfare by preventing maltreatment, providing safe and effective care, and taking action to help you achieve the best outcomes possible.

We believe that everyone has the right to live without abuse or neglect, regardless of age, ability, gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. We understand that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and we are committed to preventing abuse and neglect by safeguarding the welfare of all students who study with us.

Welcome Students aged under 18

We believe that studying abroad is a valuable experience for students of all ages. While our programs are primarily designed for students aged 18 and older, we warmly welcome students aged 16 and 17.

Students under the age of 18 will be studying in classes with adult students. To ensure their well-being, we encourage students to be responsible and mindful of their safety during their free time, such as breaks between lessons or when traveling between the school and their homestay.
